TeenPatti is a popular Indian card game that originated in India. In fact, teenpatti is inspired by Poker and we can say 3 patti is the Indian version of Poker. It’s a very interesting game that is played in a group of 3 to 6 persons with 52 card packs without a joker.
TeenPatti is a very easy to play and easy-to-understand game. In this game, each player is dealt with 3 cards face down. Before the start of the game, a boot amount is decided and collected from all the players. The boot is the minimum amount decided for the stake amount and is kept in the pot.
Every 3 patti online begins with the ‘Boot’. The boot is basically an amount collected from players, which is the agreed minimum stake. The boot money grows as the game proceeds with each move. This money is placed in the middle of the players where the game is being played. The dealer then deals the cards anti-clockwise and each player receives 3 cards. Then players decide when they want to play their move.
They can either play ‘Seen’ (When a player checks his/her cards) or they can play ‘Blind’ (When a player keeps cards faced down).
If a player is playing blind, then he/she must bet at least the current stake (Boot).
If a player has already seen cards, then he/she must bet at least as much as the current stake.
If a player is playing blind, he/she can look at his/her cards at any point in the game and can become a seen player and from that turn onwards, the betting rules for seen player applies.
The betting should be continued until –
All except one player has folded. In this case, the remaining player wins the pot.
If only two players have folded and one of these players at their turn bets for a show. Then the sequence of both players will be compared.
If a player wants to make a show that cannot happen until all but two players have folded cards.
When a show is performed, both players’ cards will be revealed, and the player who has a higher ranking wins the pot. If the hands are equal, the player who requested the show will lose the game.
A player can request the other player a sideshow. The request can be either accepted or refused. It is up to the player.
If the request is accepted, then two players compare their cards, and the player with the lower ranking sequence of teenpatti will immediately fold. If they are equal, the player who has requested the show must fold.
If the request is refused, then betting will be continued.
